When Pujols is hitting those out.... maybe he's turned a corner and back to being the old Pujols.

One appearance, got shelled and shipped off.

That worked out well...

Didn't say it was a good plan or that I agree with it. ;)

It looked like the reliever mouthed "No f***ing way" as he left the mound in disbelief. That wasn't a pitch you expect to have hit out.

Some how, some way, now with the best record in the NL.

Just imagine if we had Wainwright. And didn't have Franklin.

I noticed that, too.

Screw it. Playoffs or bust, 2011 style.

We need some playoff avatars if they manage to clinch a spot in the postseason.

I'll go back to being critical when Westbrook's arm falls off(again).

In the meantime, I'll drink the kool aid.

We were wondering if the old Pujols would return when Holliday and Berkman returned to their normal production...I think the question was answered yesteday. In the last 12 games, he has five homers, two doubles, 12 RBIs and a .660 slugging percentage.

Goddamn, I hate LaRussa.

You have to admit that he is playing the young players more than ever before. Albeit, its by injury but not all of it can be blamed on injury. In the past he has went out and got veterans to fill holes instead of giving the youngsters a chance,

At the first of the season after losing Waino, I wasn't saying we would make the playoffs just that we wouldn't lose 90 games this year as so many predicting. I don't think you could realistically look at our roster and predict playoffs after losing Waino.
