Do you think an owner will spend 60mm on a player and not give him several years to earn it. If you think they will, you're a dumbass.

At this point its about $43 million and won't cost anything more if we cut him after this year except a small cap hit for the rest of the bonus to kick.

Lol. Ok. Jamarcus russell didn't get several years too. That's never happened before. You spend 60 mil and the player sucks, you just drop him. Happens all the time. Like cass... oh wait, were still stuck with him. Clark must be the odd man out. You're right. My intelligence bows to your superiority.

May it R.I.P.

Yeah, but it isn't like the Chiefs have got a ton of talent around Cassel. They are still building.

Heck, this year, two of the Chiefs biggest weapons on offense went down.

And, he STILL has numbers this year that project to be better than most of Palmers seasons. Not the yards, but the passer rating, TD's, Int's, average per pass and percentage of passes downfield all on par with Carson.

Time will tell.... but don't get it twisted about what Palmer is.

Another illustration of the fact that stats mean jack.

Palmer hasn't been nearly the player since his knee got blown up that he was before, but if you told me I could trade Cassel for Palmer straight up, I wouldn't even give it a second thought before making that trade.

Palmer isn't good.
Cassel blows chunks.

But his point is still sound.

You give a player a big contract, and you have to give him a minimum of three years before you move on.

That's three years of wasted time that holds your team back.

I'd rather them both get swine flu and start Stanzi.

Do you think Raider fans have figured out that Palmer isn't playing tomorrow?

KCBOSS1 10-22-2011 02:48 PM

I was hoping we would trade for Palmer when we got Cassel.

Molitoth 10-22-2011 03:15 PM

It looks like the Raiders Super Bowl run is going to have to start in a few more weeks.

Chiefs Pantalones 10-22-2011 03:22 PM

I can't wait for the game to start and get over with. It smells like unemployment checks and food stamps with all the Raider fans consuming it.

SnakeXJones 10-22-2011 03:26 PM

I am gonna be missing most of it since I have to leave for work but will be taping it
