Sounds like he's getting better, but it also sounds like he's getting more time to work.

The O-Line struggles are really starting to concern me. Sounds like the 1s are getting abused pretty much every day.

Listening to a little of 610 over my lunch break, they had Fescoe on talking about todays practice and what the hilight was...paraphrasing because I was in my car:

"...well it was when Bray threw a pick-6 and Stanzi came back and threw a touchdown. The fans went crazy for that. Must have been a big Iowa crowd because that was a crowd pleaser. That was definitely the hilight of the day."

He then went on and said how he thought it would be very hard for Stanzi to make the team at this point and one touchdown pass wasn't going to move him up to 3rd on the depth chart.

Our starting QB goes the whole first hour of practice without throwing an incompletion, and Fescoe's highlight is about our 3rd/4th string QB battle? :shake:

Nobody cares about Alex Smith.

Bray = Most popular player on the roster right now.

Alex Smith not throwing a pick shouldn't be newsworthy. That's what's expected.

This. He's not news because he's the solidified starter. He's expected to exceed.

If he starts sucking or something, then you'll hear about it.

In the case of Alex Smiff, no news is good news.

No Incompletions for the whole first hour. That's a little different than no Interceptions.

I think his point still applies...

Kuddos to our recievers.

I think it's a non-story. Smith throwing picks is more noteworthy simply because it's not supposed to happen (based on his recent performance...). A good practice just means he's just doing what they're paying him to do.

As InChiefsHell said, no news is good news.

I do think it's a good sign in terms of getting him and receivers on the same page.

Teicher was just on 810 giving Bray a public ball washing. He just said what most have that he can make throws that no other QB on the roster can. On the money fades in the back of the end zone....No chance he isn't on the roster.
