May is 25 years old, 26 right after the year so he's a little old for a "prospect".

If you haven't yet, you should probably vote for the CMON CHEN shirt. |
20 passed balls in 65 games.
help me remember....isn't this about what olivio was last year. i'll be the first guy to admit i miss his power. but it seemed like there was always an unfortunate passed ball at the worst time. i'm okay (i guess) with kendall. actually only his defense. i really don't think he's a 2/3 hitter. not at his age. isn't the new C in his upper 20's. we do need depth. i will miss pods, but really, he turned out exactly what we needed him to be. decent lead off batter who could steal bases, and for the right team in the hunt, get us a couple players (if i dare label them as that). |
A 25 year old catcher and a guy who took 3 years to get through rookie ball.
Good luck. |
Kendall blows balls man. we'd be better off with either of the catches we let go this past year.

i'm content with his D. maybe not his game calling. but his offense is basically just a singles hitter. don't we have 7 other guys that do that right now. buck, olivio, shit, a 55 year old brent mayne would be a step up on O right now. |

A lot of May's numbers are a result of playing in Albuquerque. Pretty much every player hits here. He's also not very good behind the plate. Not terrible from what I've seen, just mediocre. But I could see him ending up a serviceable #2 catcher for a few years.
Besides, wtf....it's just Podsednik, after all. |
