This may be one of those things where the Royals don't think he can start and teams outside KC think we're crazy and should be starting him. We very well could be wrong about him, but if he's valued higher outside KC, we gotta move him.

You missed my point: I'd be surprised if Finnegan is included for a 3 month rental. IMO, they should get something coming back for him, not just give him away.

Cueto does more than a 5% chance better. He's our immediate, no-doubt #1 pitcher. And he's joining a team that is already 20 games above .500.

I don't think anyone on our active roster was in play as far as Dayton was concerned.
As much shit as Omar takes there's real continuity among the infield.

A good portion of the defense is that familiarity and anticipation of knowing what each other will do.

Rios is finally hitting and you have Dyson as a defensive substitute.

So what do you go for? Bench / utility depth? Another strong bat who can bat from the left?

Another mid level of the rotation guy to give you flexibility to go with the hot hand at the time or bases on matchups- like a high K or groundball specialist?
