When you guys bench and squat, do you explode up or maintain a slow, controlled motion throughout the lift?

Uhh.. always explode the concentric, and control the eccentric. Even if the weight is heavy (>80% 1rm), you ALWAYS went to fire as fast as possible. I like to aim for a 3 count on the eccentric, except deadlifts. I just drop that shit.

Drop sets:
1. Select a weight that is challenging to you
2. Do some number of repetitions
3. Without pause, reduce the weight
4. Do some additional number of repetitions at the lower weight
