Just keep doing what you've been doing, Fast Eddie Ragnarok... it sounds like you're still holding your own and THAT is a victory!
Please tell Sacc he is in my thoughts and prayers as well |

This past weekend, I made my First Feast of Fall, and invited a dear old friend, despite him being a Raiders fan, over with his two sons for a big Danish meal. They loved it and watched my trip DVD after dinner. I may have planted the travel seed in the lads' heads! I was glad to have the endurance to do all that cooking and setting the table. I slept like a baby that night, though. Cancer still takes a lot out of me.

He may be a Raider fan, but he at least had the good sense to wear RED in your presence!

Every time I see this thread bumped, I think this (and hear it in his voice) -

One positive from last night's debacle in Pittsburgh was it distracted me from a very odd and disturbing pain I have had for 2 days in my chest, just to the right of my breastbone, almost feeling like a tiny hand under my rib squeezing something in there. It hurt to exhale, then changed the next day to hurting when I would inhale. Lying on my right side was very painful but I could sleep lying flat on my back or on my left side. Leaning forward made the pain much worse. It hurts to laugh, too. I didn't laugh much last night, though.
I am off to the cancer center shortly, with a very early 7:45 am start. I am definitely telling the doc or nurse, whomever I see today, about my chest pain. Maybe they will x-ray me, who knows? |
Godspeed, Ed.

Good luck today, Sir.
