I kinda liked that it was the last one standing to have such a format. That being said, doesn't really register on my radar of things to give a shit about when it comes to the tour. I did like the change where jerkoffs with super slow mo HD pause can no longer call in rules violations...so that was a step in the right direction.

On a different note....the sun is finally shining (at least here in KC) and the grass will be greening up pretty soon. Some good golf tourneys coming up leading to the Masters. Just ordered a new set of irons that I should have by Friday. Got tix to the US Open in STL this summer. So pumped for the golf season to be almost officially back!

I hope you're not disappointed when you get to StL in June and find out you're only about 1000 miles West of the US Open. If you're headed out there in mid-August though, maybe I'll see you at the PGA.

Trust me, having been to both events in prior years, they have a far different feel.

Im playing whistling straits in may. Whistling straits, the river, and the meadow courses. Should be fun. Anybody played whistling straits before? Looking forward to it.

You'll love it. It's worth it.

Be prepared to have your bunker game tested.

That's how I am with PING. I've considered getting a set of iBlades, but life is just way too busy (and they're way too $$$) for me to justify it right now.

I thought about getting a set of Mizuno cavity backs, once. Great forged feel.

Buck up for some PXG

Goddamnit! Hahahaha. I should've just said Bellerive and left it at that. Of course I mean the PGA. We're playing golf Thur and Fri and going on Sat and Sunday.

Nice. Should be a great time out there. I find the PGA to be a bit more relaxed, despite it being a major.

A pretty good final round shaping up at the Valspar tournament today. The TV ratings are going to be massive. Justin Rose, Paul Casey, Tiger and Sergio all at the top of the leaderboard.

Got it on now and won't turn it off until the end.

Gonna be a good day

Tiger kind of falling apart. Needs to get up and down for par on 11

Is this thread for traditional golf only, and not disc golf too? Or does a separate thread need to be started for disc golf?

He didn't play well today (looked like the pressure got to him), but there's actually a chance Tiger Woods could win another major in his career and I never figured I'd say that again.

They measured his clubhead speed at 129.6 on #14 yesterday. After all the surgeries he's been through, that's a pretty good testament to his health right now. Now, we'll need to see if his back can hold up over a longer haul.

1 back of the lead going to 18.
