I hope this spring gives them just the right amount of swagger to carry into the regular season.

i've been whipping the shit out of everyone on MLB the Show, with the Royals. And can do so without having to adjust my sliders all over the place to help myself.
In years past, the R's were so bad I HAD to adjust sliders. This is a good sign. |

Well FML. Promotion interview on 4/1 at 3:30. I took the day off to drink and watch via Xbox. Now I'll be sober and anxious, the opposite of what opening day should be like.

Yeah, this spring has shown a few signs of worry:
1. Already tweaking the lineup to deal with Hosmer. 2. Frenchy with all out Frenchy suck. This dude must play at replacement level for the team to have a chance. |

If you think he's your 3 hitter, stick him in the 3 spot and let it happen. With Butler behind him and a strong leadoff hitter in front of him, it might be where he's best suited for success. Frenchy has been flat-out awful again. I was figuring he'd probably be replacement level again this year, but it doesn't look promising. Maybe he should throw Kevin Seitzer and Billy Butler under the bus again. That will get him back on track... |

If Hosmer doesn't step forward, I have a hard time seeing this team get to where it wants/needs to go. |
Hosmer back in the lineup today batting 6th.

Yost is so inconsistent with his lineup shuffling, though, I'm sure it won't help. The way he was willing to move EVERYONE but Jeff Francoeur early last season (who stubbornly was left in the crucial 5 spot in the lineup for WAY too long)... |
