The Chiefs are interested in signing Cardinals wide receiver Steve Breaston, according to a team source.

Breaston played for Todd Haley in Arizona, and Kansas City is looking to add more firepower to a passing offense that ranked 30th in the NFL during the 2010 season.

The fifth-year pro had 47 receptions for 718 yards and one touchdown this past season. His best season was 2008, when he caught 77 passes for 1,006 yards and three touchdowns."

solid numbers given their QB shithole....

adding a steady 50-60 catch vet would do wonders for this offense

no he's not, but the Chargers would've have a gaping hole the size of Kurt's mom's vagina if they didn't resign him.

Only thing I remember about Weddle is how Jamaal made him look silly on that Monday night TD.

Weddle's not a bad player at all, but to make him the highest paid safety? ROFL

i hope this is true, because Berry will be the best safety in the league by the end of the year....weddle can't hold his camero-plated jock strap

I agree, Beaker Boy. It's best for Chiefs fans to consolidate their off-season disappointment into a single week.

Even with his production of last season he'll be a big help to us. Since it appears we are really interested I expect Pioli to get this done.

While this is going to be a fun and entertainig week, I'd have to disagree.

This has been the longest offseason ever, because of the lack of free agency and the news associated with that during the summer months.
