I was pretty stunned myself. When we scored those two TD's I thought, "Holy shit. We might actually win this." Then by the time PITT tied it up I was thinking we were ****ed. But...****...80 yard completion for a TD on the first play of OT in the playoffs? That's some crazy shit. I rank this up there as one of my favorite Bronco playoff wins.

People were getting tired of the team winning the kick only having to drive 50 yards to score a long game-winning FG. AFAIK it's a very small, specific rule tweak which only eliminates the one scenario: if you score a FG on your opening drive, the other team gets a chance. (If they score a FG, game continues. If they score a TD, game over. If they don't score, game over.)

I didn't watch the game but, from what I heard from Sloane at 31 Flavors, the Steelers didn't keep the plays in front of them or keep a deep safety for help as much as would've been prudent. The Patriots had a nice blueprint to contain Tebow and limit him, and it apparently worked well enough for three Bronco losses in a row. Make him sit in the pocket and throw short and accurate, you win; let him heave it deep, you lose.

I expect him to complete a few deep against the Patriots. I'll give them two touchdowns on bombs, and I'll even concede another touchdown running. I'll even throw in a couple of field goals. But even if Denver scores 27 or 30, I don't think they win this game. The Patriots' offense just has too many weapons and can score too quickly or easily.

They're trying to get the team that wins the OT toss to be more aggressive.
