It does feel a lot like that.

Dang. Nkemdiche is the guy I actually wanted to get.

Good haul. That 4th is like a third. Close anywYs from where we were originally.

yeah, tampering cost up 9 slots in the 1st and 3rd rounds

Sucks that all the people we wanted were gone by our pick but I like the fact that we now have...

2 2nds
2 4ths
2 5ths
2 6ths
1 7th

Gives us a ton of flexibility to move up if we need to later in the draft.

This!

Just above worthless, we should have just stayed and select from the huge talent pool still available.

And we traded down to a spot some of that huge talent pool will still be there.

**** this.

I usually hate trading down, but I trust Dorsey's drafting and he got two extra picks. He'll do well with them.

The cardinals drafted a random word generator

Could still possibly get Alexander at 2.5.... Or even Jack.

Nice.

And have them for a year less.

For a goddamn pittance; a nothing of a throwaway pick that literally represents a 15% chance of yielding a legitimate contributor. Just a shade more likely to succeed than a priority UDFA who's roster spot he'd take.

****ing risk-averse trade down people...

eDave 04-28-2016 09:29 PM

The trade is fine, unless you wanted Lynch. Once he was gone, this was an easy trade for KC.

Thanks, doesn't look so bad now.

Seem like they just decided that if the CBs are gone then we go back. It's that simple.

I'm happier with two 2nd round picks than a 1st round pick we'd be somewhat settling for
