Despite the rest (or maybe because of it) the offense came out flat and didn't execute well at.

However, it appears that the Texans ran out of gas while the Chiefs were getting stronger as the game went on. That was likely due to the rest, too.

We won less convincingly versus the Texans with a 2.5-week rest advantage than we did a month ago.

Hence, let’s not overstate the advantage of rest and what it might mean in the playoffs. Especially in a situation where it’s the alleged tiebreaker between the Bills and Ravens based on what each team experienced 3 weeks prior to the AFCCG.
