Why are you doing it? Because you may have polyps? How old are you? Are you having issues?

Getting a colonoscopy just because of the chance you have polyps is kinda silly. I had a colonoscopy at 24 because of some stomach issues, but everything was fine.

That’s like telling a woman not to have a mammogram unless they know they have a lump

Polyps can become cancerous.

Men at a certain age should not be shy of getting themselves screened. Considering that testosterone seems to promote prostate and colorectal cancers and those cancers tend to affect men more than women. It is wise for any man to be proactive in their healthcare. And that includes colon and prostate screenings.

Prostate exams and colonoscopies are just as important for men as it is for a woman to have annual pelvic exams and periodic mammograms.

Interestingly, digital rectal exams are pretty controversial, PSA is a little controversial but getting more in favor.

You have reached biggest dumbass on CP with that post.

Colon cancer is basically 100% curable if caught early.

No one but peasants should be wiping that much.

Yep.

Like Jim Breuer says, if you're wiping your ass with toilet paper, all you're doing is spreading peanut butter.
