Who to believe - STATS, INC, the official stat service of the league, or Niner troll? Tough one. http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/p...d=8277&team=12 |

Look, Bowe IS a good receiver, so I'll leave this bit alone. But you can not overlook that KC is 5th in drops as a team. |

If Bowe is open by 3 yards 15 yards deep and Charles is open by 8 in the flat who do you think he'll throw it to? Wrong - Charles. The basic idea of the WCO is to complete the pass, gain yards, and put the onus on yards gained on the pass catcher and not the distance of the throw. THAT IS STAMPED IN HIS DNA. |

Because Denver is dropping a higher percentage of Manning passes, and they haven't missed a beat. Next excuse, please. |

Here's a quick quiz for our CP friends following along at home: Do you hate Dwayne Bowe? 1. Yes 2. No If you answered yes, then you're bad at watching football and should take up a more engaging activity; like finger painting or trying to find bunny shapes in the clouds. |

One play by Avery was almost 10 yards short of the 1st... |
I just looked it up.
3rd and 2 or less to go we have converted 1 out of 6 attempts. Thats pathetic. We should be at least 80% on those plays. |

I watch every team in the league throw the ball underneath on 3rd and long. Every team does it. You know why? The defense is guarding against the deep pass. Thats why most deep passes are on early downs. Furthermore watch the game again and on that first one Smith had a millisecond to get rid of the ball to Avery who got the 1st on 3rd and 17. He couldn't have thrown down field if a guy was running wide open. No time whatsoever. |
