Holy shit.

The best superhero movie ever.

****ing awesome. I was in a constant state of jizzgasm.

My only question is WHERE THE **** IS IRON MAN during all of this.

Yeah.

Being someone who drives through the middle of DC almost every evening during rush hour, I really should get myself one of those.

The great thing about this movie is that I felt like anyone could die at any time, even Cap. And even though I KNEW
Spoiler!

They really executed everything so incredibly well.

And Stan Lee's cameo was awesome.

I love all his cameos but the one in Amazing Spiderman is by far the best one.

This was a great movie, but not the best. What was the best?

I don't know. I refuse think about it because there is no way I could live with CA being the best. That's just not a world I want to live in. So yeah. You're wrong.

Hammock Parties 04-08-2014 06:27 PM

No. Sorry. It's the best. Better than Avengers. Better than Iron Man. What else is there? Hulk? LOL. Thor. No. Spiderman? LOL

Also the trailer for the next X-Men movie gave me such a woody. GOD I LOVE BEING A NERD.

I would say it's the best just as a movie but Avengers may take a slight (very slight) edge as a superhero movie. But in reality they are different enough that I shouldn't try to compare them. It's like trying to say Cool Hand Luke is better than Casablanca (or vice versa).

I'm assuming you guys don't consider the Nolan trilogy superhero movies?

No, I do, I just don't think they are in the same ballpark as the Winter Soldier or Avengers. Not even remotely close actually.

This was on par with The Dark Knight, without being so SOOPER SERIOUS.

It really found an amazing balance between comedy, action and plot.

Just silly stuff like Cap saying "I had a big breakfast" makes it fun for me.

Plus Bruce Wayne is kind of an asshole. Cap is so easy to like. And dreamy.

I have to agree, I prefer a more light hearted approach. Probably why I prefer SHIELD over Arrow for TV shows.

I did matinee Saturday. It still cost $36 for two tickets to IMAX 3D.
