The 1st and 2nd rounds are on different days. The 1st pick in the 2nd round is essentially a 1st round pick at you can plan for almost a full day beforehand. And that doesn't even include how much time you could use to work trades.

It's not insignificant.

1. LB Mani Te'o - I know people want to pick QB with this pick...but Te'o was the best player in college football this past season and it's really not even close. Besides this is a draft where we can get our QB in rd2.
2. QB Tyler Wilson
3. WR Da'Rick Rogers
3. CB Tyrann Mathieu (Carr comp pick)
