So the driver needed is for the hardware must run on x86 under linux.

Check on net for driver this may take a while for your flavor of linux and
the hardware.

I'll admit it, I've never used kinternent. I only have LAN based access, I don't evere have to worry about connecting/disconnecting. Even if I did I'd be using my shell scripts. :)

Congrats, man. It feels good, doesn't it? Kind of like a weight has been lifted from your computing life.

I'd run a sector check on his drive, sounds like he lost a big chunk of data. Could just be an allocation table issue, but you want to verify that before you go putting a bunch of stuff on.

I think SuSE installs it by default but I've never used it.

I haven't looked very hard, but I haven't found a single app that does this well. I have done it, however. Here are some links to get you started:

OK, Simplex. I have been busy all week but am now back to looking at Suse a little. I can't figure out how to get gnucash installed to save my life. I have tried the linux question forums but can't find any direct instructions for this. I do get the occasional newbie telling me to switch to Ubuntu though. LOL

Hell make that for all files. I can't install Wine rpm file either.
