Down here in Rio Rancho, NM, it is 21 and feels like 21. Not bad compared to most of you, but I'd appreciate about 25 degrees more warmth.

wild1 01-07-2010 09:27 AM

-1. The weather channel says it could get down to -20 overnight.

It's tempting to stay home. Especially since I work outdoors most of the time. But someone has to keep the interwebs working around here.:D

Mr. Laz 01-07-2010 09:30 AM

3 degrees Farenheit
wind gusts to 29 mph
-14 wind chill

WHERE'S MY GLOBAL WARMING, ALGORE?

:cuss:

Hey Zod, how f-d up do you think our lovely BNSF line will be tonight? I think you still work downtown. That should be a world class shitshow.

I was surprised it wasn't screwed up this morning. Of course, even if it is, it's still better than driving the Eisenhower/Reagan combo.

I remember I drove in the Wednesday before Thanksgiving a few years ago thinking I could get home faster if I had my car if my office closed early. It didn't, and a horrible snow storm hit early in the day. I left at 4:00, didn't get home until almost 8:00. I'd have gotten home faster riding a ****ing horse. :grr:

I snow blowed today from 6am until 9am. Luckily it wasn't blowing hard here at that time. But its blowing like a sumbitch right now. The 4-6 inchs we got will be blowed two counties away if this keeps up until 6pm tonight.

We are sub zero right now with strong wind gust.

Oh how I wish Al Gore would come to the midwest to give a press conf. right now.
He'd be laughed off the stage. Friday our high is to be -3 and Saturday morning
we could wake up to -19. Thats w/o the wind chill factor.

Yeah, there are a lot of people who don't seem to know the difference between weather and climate.... or enjoy driving stupid jokes into the ground, whatever.
