I don't know what all you've said today, but you never say anything positive about the Chiefs. And BossChief is right about that.

Because my argument that you called "weak" is just an argument against Hootie's self-proclaimed genius. You seem to be misreading things.

Fair point.

It is definitely about the next five years. But, guess what, they have a draft each and every one of those years. You can't address every need.

The point you are missing is that the front seven looked good. Do you think that Rivers just suddenly couldn't throw the ball on a straight line? Do you think that it was just dumb luck that the Chiefs kept the Chargers to 14 points despite having three rookies playing in the secondary much of the night?

Now, I will admit, I liked Kindle and Cody going into the draft. However, Kindle has an injury history and Cody has a motivation problem.

I don't think either played tonight. I believe both were injured.

There will always be players at those positions next year. You let the draft come to you, you don't reach for players.

Chiefs had an opportunity to draft two guys in the second round that won't be there next year.

A fat, overweight underachieving NT is certain to be there as well as an explosive OLB.

We as Chiefs fans need to learn how to act when we win.

We are at each other's throats after a win. JFC

Eh, at this point everyone should know it's just Hootie being Hootie. Crazy meltdowns and knee-jerk reactions are what he does.

Kinda funny that only draft pick that the draft guys wanted was Berry and he gave up both TD's.

Maybe we should trade him to the Lions for a practice squad TE.

Mecca 09-14-2010 12:32 AM

Yea I don't enjoy the win at all, I mean what kinda asshole I am to say that the defense played well, the special teams was great, the run game was good...hell the entire team looked better...other than the QB.

What a complete negative asshole I am for not thinking 68 yards passing and less than 50% is rocking the house.

Hootie 09-14-2010 12:32 AM

no excuses for Berry today...he played like a rookie...but he is a rookie

he did flash on a few plays for sure

but he did make a really costly, really shitty **** up

Worst pick since Eddie Freeman? That is what I'm referring too. You are ALREADY wrong about that. Can't even man up and admit that?

A D+...

and tonight?

we started Berry and Moeaki...

McCluster and Arenas were PIVOTAL PLAYMAKERS who contributed heavily to our win...

shit...the only pick you liked (Berry) pretty much sucked ass tonight...

and we're not even counting guys like Asomoah and K. Lewis who are probably going to be good players in the future...

so again

you're and idiot

again and again and again

you're a know-it-all who doesn't seem to know very much...

not a good combination

You know what the difference between us is? Other than the fact that I actually have an education and am a professional? It's that I can admit when I'm wrong. There is a very good chance that this could end up being a good draft for the Chiefs. I won't shy away from admitting I'm wrong. There's no downside to it. A good draft for the Chiefs is good for me. But if you're wrong, you don't have the gumption to simply admit that, there's always an excuse, or you were drunk, or you weren't being serious.

You're a duplicitous ****, plain and simple.

It becomes funnier when people side with him just to take shots at certain posters.

And of course I should be a super nice guy in a thread from a guy who is a complete jackass making threads to insult people right?

Im not necessarily talking about this thread at all. Hootie is always gonna be a jackass, but in this instance he is being a jackass out of love for this team after believing they could win a game like this.

We did win, ya know. Gloating about it is a bad charachter trait, but the guy is celebrating in his own way.

Im talking about after the Pittsburgh win last year...the Denver win last year when you were calling for CJ Spiller. Saying things like Charles doesnt have his vision or whatever.

Its like you hold onto the negative so strongly that you cant even see this team coming together LIKE A TEAM and doing whatever it takes to win a game they were supposed to lose.

I guess what Im saying is that it would be nice to see ya come on here JUST ONCE and CELEBRATE WITH US.

I haven't laughed that hard since Rivers kicked the ball during his temper tantrum during the game.

Oh, don't worry little one. I'm sure the Chiefs will lose plenty of games this year, giving you plenty of opportunities to talk about what a bad pick McCluster was.
