Not that it mattes because i fully expect him to resign with AZ. Doucet is just as injury prone if not more, and if they let Breaston walk they'll have no one outside of Fitz.

Gaither can't stay on the field. He's got back issues. I don't care where he lines up. He's not dependable.

Again, if he has an injury history, I don't care the role we are asking him to play. I like him as a player. Don't like his knee troubles being a young receiver.

Id be cool with signing Bulger. He can be 3rd string. basically an extra QB's coach. That's what he wants to do anyway.

Cassel
Stanzi
Bulger

Maybe it'll help Cassel improve.

He was behind an awful Rams offensive line in from 2007-2009.

Do I think he should be starting for anyone? Hell no. Could he be a decent backup? Maybe.

Go watch film of him at the end of his Rams tenure. Take a look at his eyes when the rush is coming.

It's sad, but once a QB gets gun shy, it's tough to overcome.

Locker room presence isn't worth a roster spot, IMO.

Everyone wondered why the Jets let him walk. Everyone thought they were stupid.

Well, we saw with our own eyes why they let him go, starting after Week 7.

Dude was worthless after that.

Weeks 1-7: 4.66 YPC

Weeks 8-17: 2.9 YPC

We are obviously not going to see eye to eye on this. I 100% disagree that a guy who can lead a locker room isn't worth a roster spot.

The Bad Guy 07-25-2011 02:54 PM

The only plus to Bulger is he's worked with Zorn.

Yeah. The dude is toast for sure. But he and Zorn really helped out Flacco and they could do the same for Cassel.

Yeah, Bulger had a good stretch, but he has beaten so hard it would take alot for him to overcome. Not impossible. I think Cassel has some gun shyness as well, and it improved as the season went on last year. Hopefully with some line improvements again this season, he can continue to make progress.

Sorry, but this team needs contributors on the field.

To spend a roster spot on a cheerleader?

No thanks.

Falcons | Tyson Clabo considered top priority

Free-agent OT Tyson Clabo (Falcons) is believed to be the highest priority among the three starting offensive linemen that the Atlanta Falcons have to deal with once free agency begins.

See, you want to equate a guy who leads by example, works hard as being a cheerleader and I think that's just a valid comparison.

Who cares. Dude would've been so stupidly overpaid. I never even thought twice about the guy.

I would love to have Clabo on the Chiefs. Absolute stud RT.

Yep. I thought Cassel started to get a little antsy in 2009, after the beating he was taking for the first half of the year. I think the team turned it around before he became broken the way Carr was broken in Houston, but I won't feel confident about that until I see how he handles himself in the second half this season, when he's going to be facing a slew of good teams.

Haha

CoMo in mid season form already!!!

We are ****ing back!!!!

I would rather re-sign Brodie Cro....hold on. I don't want this to be taken the wrong way.

I'd rather rape my self with a toilet brush than than sign Mark Bulger.

Literally speaking, we have a better chance of winning games with Stanzi.

It's probably because I'm a Rams fan and I don't think the Rams collapse was Bulger's fault, but I think Bulger has something left in the tank.

He was gun shy because of a horrible OL. He signed with the Ravens because they have a good OL. The Chiefs don't have a bad OL. Bulger can be a decent backup, if healthy.
