Meaning that just because he was considered for the Heisman, doesn't really mean anything in terms of NFL success.

The Heisman is the college equivalent of the Pro Bowl.

Brad Banks from Iowa was a Heisman runner-up for Christ's sake. He never played a down in the NFL.

Exactly, he's not Aaron Curry and Aaron Curry was a BUST.

Why would anybody want ANY ILB with the #1 pick? It's just completely insane.

Must be an incredibly shitty draft.

You mean we shouldn't draft a non skill player and an ILB to boot with the very first pick in the draft?

Remember Oklahoma Sooner QB Jason White that won the Heisman award? Didn't even get drafted, but I think a lot of that was he had bad knees iirc?

You'e getting caught up in pre-draft hype. It happens every year. Stop listening to talking heads.

And winning the Heisman means nothing. I'm honestly shocked you brought it up.

It means that Heisman winners don't do dick in the NFL, and rarely have anything to do with Skill.

When a player wins the Heisman, i usually HOPE we don't draft them, because more often than not, they flame out in the NFL.

Heisman means dick.

Oh man that was awesome when Bo Jackson ran over him into the dirt for a TD. The Bozz was never the same again. I hated the raiders but loved Bo Jackson.
