Got it. I understand trying to recoup lost picks, but with the lack of generational talent in this draft, why not just keep the known commodity and take the developmental QB for the future?

Joeckel will allow at least 5.

With A Smith being the sackmaster were gonna need a capable backup qb with all the hits Smith is gonna take.
