The management of this whole inning is a great example of why Ned Yost doesn't get it.

1) JC Gutierrez sucks and should never be used in a high leverage situation when Collins, Crow, Herrera, Coleman are available.

2) Tim Collins is more effective against RH hitters. Bringing him in as a lefty specialist is stupid.

3) David Murphy has hit better against lefties than against righties this season.
