Yeah I'm gonna have to sorta disagree with you there.

Oh gotcha. Yeah I can completely understand how The Assassination of Jesse James would turn some people off. Its slow paced and there isnt much action at all.

And thanks for the recommendation. I'll make sure to check out The Long Riders.

Great flick. Bloody, stylish and cool. Nice gimmick that worked - they had real life brothers playing brothers in the movie. David Carradine was particularly awesome as Cole Younger.

A group of 10 of us walked out on this movie back in high school:

Kind of like posting an image link that won't work and not mentioning the movie?

I'll go you one better....I watched "A Star is Born" with Kris Kristofferson and Barbra Streisand for the same reason.

Truth is, if a girl likes you, you can have a Freddy Got Fingered, Battlefield Earth, Gigli triple feature and she'll still want to get with you.

Titanic....you actually sat thru that whole thing. I'm with Fraz on that one, even sex isn't worth having to sit thru Titanic.

Haven't seen the movie or the TV series thankfully

Long Riders was great....it never went to the theater, but another good western of late is Purgatory.

It is when you're an 18 year old infatuated with a Manic Pixie Dream Girl.

Can't speak for the series, but the movie is decent. Mostly because it was as much a satire as a chick/teen flick. Really funny bits about the capriciousness of entitled teens. I still laugh at the sheer terror they experience when accidentally veering onto the LA freeway.

Plus, Paul Rudd.

BTW Paul has a funny story about the first time he met Alicia Silverstone. It was some fancy dinner at an upscale NY restaurant. The meal was on the hosts of the dinner, and Paul was like 'I'm getting my money's worth out of this experience.' Ordered the braised whole rabbit, ate it like a mad man.
Turns out, as we now know, Alicia is a hard core vegan, and she sat there watching him lay into this little bunny with gusto and never said a word.

I can't make it through most of Tarantinos stuff. Kill Bill is the dumbest shit I have ever seen.

Buehler445 06-14-2013 06:41 PM

I liked Clueless when I was younger. Mostly because I would have given anything I have, do and will own, just to have Alicia Silverstone sit on my face. She was epic hot in those days.

Me neither. I remember saving it on my DVR and being excited to watch it for the first time.

I ended up deleting it within 10 minutes.
