My problem with this is I do not what type of stuff he is stealing. It could be much higher. From my experience he is not the only person stealing.

As for the software, if it is mom and pop, it could be handle with just excel tracking on spot checks on random skus. The thing I would be worried about the most by them not checking is the deliveries. Companies are notorious for missing boxes and having them received in full, also drivers stealing shit. If they are not noting this amount missing, there is a bigger problem.

Easiest way to increase profit is simple things. I managed a warehouse, I was amazed by some of the stunts/tricks people would use to steal.


But you might be right, if the owner does not notice or want cameras, he probably does not care enough. Or thinks everyone underneath him is looking out for him.

Yeah, I sort of felt that may have been a little harsh concerning the purposeful vagueness of MTGs details. You would have to be an absolute moron to at least not check off the deliveries when they come in. I get what you're saying but if you are an accountant and looked at my personal company books you would have a heart attack, I have a huge box of receipts marked "IRS" and can't wait to throw them at the agents if I ever get hit up. Surprisingly, in my corporate career I am somewhat of an expert on SOX matters but that is for monster companies with monster dollars that have some use for it. I'm basically a middle man in my biz and I flat out refuse to jump through some of the stupid hoops the IRS wants for a very simple business.

IIRC, MTG's ex never got a train run on her but she was, at one point, dating someone distinctly younger than herself and MTG which caused the latter some ire which he espoused here on this fair forum.

I don't care enough to link his threads about his divorce/custody battle/whatever else; but the dude has no problem consulting CP on all of life's most important matters.

Thanks for the run down, never really noticed him that much. This site has grown too large with too many username changes, there was a time I knew almost every fairly active poster. Now I see names with 10k+ posts that I can't remember a single thing about.
