Someone will take it but he's got no leverage for negotiation. Almost comical how poorly he's played in a contract year. Definitely speaks to him not working hard.

I've learned this year with replays it has to be even more than inconclusive...I'm watching the Rockies/Nats game and Harper was clearly safe at 3rd doing something reeruned (but that's not the point) and they still upheld the call on the field...and they literally showed a freeze frame of his hand clearly on the base before Arenado tagged him. I don't get it, either...because I've been wrong about a dozen times on replays this year.

I think he'll get a 1 year/$3M deal. Honestly, he doesn't even deserve that. He's a slap-hitting DH.
