How ****ing sad is that?

1st best QB was Matt Cassel, obviously.

He better at least have gotten paid.

I think you're being too harsh.

Chiefs aren't shit. I know they didn't make the playoffs last year but this ain't a shitty football team. Two winning seasons in a row and fans like you are still saying they're shit? Come on now, be a little more optimistic.

One of the longest playoff win droughts in the league. One of the longest Super Bowl win droughts in the league..

We're competitive now but nobody's out there checking for us. We've got a long way to go.

I think you're wrong.

We don't have a long way to go. This roster is well built and has come a long way over the years. We are probably not championship caliber but if they fix that offensive line and address depth at a few other positions, the Chiefs will be fine.

Don't agree at all, Virus. With a decent draft that will add talent to this team, I think we'll be very close to being SB contenders. Let's say we pick up the following in the draft: CB, WR, TE, OL. We're loaded on the defensive side of the ball, and our offense should be much improved with Maclin, Grubbs and another WR, OL and TE.

I think we're starting to look like the Chiefs of old.....back in the day when they went to the SB more than once in a lifetime.

The fly in the ointment is our QB; but man, he came alive in that playoff game. There's something in there.....we just need to see more of it! Hopefully, the help he'll receive on the offensive side of the ball will provide just what he needs to become more productive as needed. Hey, he's never gonna be Captain ChuckIt, but with some help, I suspect he'll become something more than Captain CheckDown. We can get there with Alex.

Meh. This kind of confirms what I've been saying about him. No one considers Him a #1 anymore. He's a decent #2 now. 700-800 yard guy who can get 900 on a real good year. That weed charge was one of the best things to happen to the Chiefs. Would have been OK with him coming back with a pay cut but not too bummed out that he's gone.

r u ****ing kidding me? This is what is wrong with 80% of this franchise's fan base. Until we get a LEGITIMATE Quarterback that can put this team on his shoulders and march down the field we aint gonna win shit! :cuss:

Now where has it been proven in ALL of Chiefs history that you can't win a 'ship with a breathing body behind Center and a squad stacked Pro-Bowler-

Oh.

Why did they sign him after all the off the field issues with Josh Gordon? Isn't Bowe like one suspension away from missing 8 games?

Because they know excellence when they see it, that's why.

They would. Lebron plays in Cleveland, right? Maybe he and Bowe can workout together.

That would be ****ing sweet, and I'd buy the T-shirt.

I was half expecting him to end up there on a one year prove it deal. I think he would have excelled with Haley coaching him up and Roethlisberger throwing him the ball. Good for the rest of the league he chose anonymity over a contender.

Yes, if there is one thing that comes to mind when I hear the word excellence, it's the Cleveland Browns
