Wow..
after what seemed like 100 tries, I finally beat Father whats his name. I was so close 3 times to killing him but he always finished me off in his final form. this time i tried to dodge nearly everything and attacked with the kirkhammer. once he reached the final form, i used the tiny music box and threw at least 4 molotovs...**** feels so good to have defeated him. hardest boss I have ever experienced in a video game in recent memory..this is one of the best titles I have ever played and restored my feeling and interest back into gaming and the PS4. |

Spoilers in this post
I bought the game when it came out and couldn't beat the Cleric Beast after a ton of tries and just gave up. But I picked it up again last weekend and beat the game tonight. Not gonna lie, Gehrman's final form destroyed me everytime and I ended up using the bell, I feel a little guilty about it cause I wanted to beat every boss by myself but it was to the point where I wasn't having any fun at all and wanted to get through it. My partner died on the final moon boss so I had to kill it, but it was a lot easier than Gehrman, IMO he's by far the hardest boss. I really enjoyed the game, I didn't even realize that it offers different difficulties kinda like Diablo, so I'm gonna try to progress through those. When I met Eileen the Crow, I attacked her just to see what happened and she murdered me, and I didn't realize she'd hate me for the entire game and that it'd make me lose a big part of the story rofl. I saw her later in the Cathedral Ward and she still killed me everytime. Needless to say I think a new playthrough would let me see a lot of things that didn't happen in the first one lol I really like this game though. It gives you such a good feeling to do something so small like open a gate that gives you a huge shortcut, and if a game can do that, you know it's a great game. |

Alright I'm level 62 and recently killed The One Reborn. I got to the lecture building and made my way to the boss with the cage on his head..can't remember his name. What do I do after that?
is Martyr Logarius after this? and how do I get to him..what would be the easiest directions without watching a walkthrough. I've killed Rom the spider too and that was by far one of the most frustrating bosses. I'm getting more and more confused as the game goes on and it's becoming increasingly more difficult..is this normal? I love how ****ed up and creepy the atmosphere and environments are in this game. |

Ok, first off you're facing Micholai, the host of the nightmare (AKA Micholas Cage). He's a puzzle boss. You'll figure it out. You can only get to Canehurst via the summons. You get that by going to Iosefka's clinic via the back door. You access the back door thru the Forbidden Woods. Canehurst is where you face Logarius. After defeating Mr. Cage, you will continue on in that area and work your way to two new areas. One area is where you drop a huge brain down a dark hole. I highly recommend you look at a playthru or two about dealing with that. Then you face Margo's wet nurse. A fairly easy boss of you know the trick. Have you cleared the Choir area yet? Feel free to PM me if you have questions man. I'm playing this again now. |

Travel to Forbidden Woods, go across the bridge, past the trap and then start heading to the left, if you keep hugging the left side of the map you'll eventually see a bunch of kennels with dogs in them, go past them and to the left there will be a cave... Go through the cave and you'll see a poison swamp, just run straight ahead past all the enemies (the loot in the swamp isn't worth getting) and you'll see another cave and when you go into it you'll see a ladder. Once you reach the top of the ladder you will find yourself behind the locked gate at the beginning of the game, just follow the level and it will take you to the second floor of Iosefka's clinic. Once you reach the second floor of Iosefka's clinic take a right until you find a room with an alien in it, on the table in that room you'll find the Cainhurst Summons. Once you get the Cainhurst Summons head to the Witches Abode (the room where you killed the Witch of Hemwick) and go outside where the two Executioners and all those dogs are hanging out. In that area you will see a huge stone pillar/statue thing, walk up to it and you will get a cutscene that will take you to Forsaken Cainhurst Castle, which is the place where you fight Logarius. TLDR... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ngD90KSyRxs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Logarius is BY FAR the hardest boss in the game, IMO. There are a lot of Bloodstone Chunks in the Forsaken Castle so it's worth at least going there. |

If you just want to skip Logarius you're basically at the end of the game right now. You have two more bosses to go (actually 3 if you have consumed 3 One Third of the Umbilical Cords.
