I think it depends on what you do but certainly, it can go either way.

Thanks man. Question for you:

Your organization is considering to run a project which will entail an investment of $1,000,000. The product from the project is forecasted to create revenues of $250,000 in the first year after the end of the project and of $420,000 in each of the two following years. What is true for the net present value of the project over the three years cycle at a discount rate of 10%?4

o The net present value is positive, which makes the project attractive.
o The net present value is positive, which makes the project unattractive.
o The net present value is negative, which makes the project attractive.

Ahhhhh, the ol' NPV of future cash flows problem. Yeah, that takes me back to undergrad. FI330PB. What they don't tell you in class is the real rub of finance is getting solid numbers to analyze. The garbage in/garbage out rule.

Since I'm long from the world of academia, I'd probably answer e.) WHAT THE **** ARE YOU SPENDING A MILLION ****ING DOLLARS FOR IF YOUR DISCOUNT RATE IS 10 PERCENT YOU GOOFY ****? :D

MikeMaslowski has presented an opportunity to me through IM. Thought I'd let everyone know that he's cool beans.

Thanks a bunch sir. I'll check it out!

Nope. Heard another guy with 30 years got laid a few months back. 6 month severance.

I'm all good financially. It's just an odd thing to have happened. And I 'knew' it was going to happen. I just knew it somehow. Bad Luck Brian.

Thank you. And thank you for all of the KC sporting wins this year that were root caused to your super duper fandom.

ChiliConCarnage 01-27-2016 07:19 AM

Sorry, Dave. That's understandably annoying about the cert. Though I suppose it can't hurt in the job search.

On the upside, it sounds like you're in a pretty good place. Masters degree, work experience, a couple of months notice plus a likely severance. Good luck

Sorry to hear, edave.

After waking up and reading through this thread, I think my suggestion was a tad under your qualification level/pay grade. You wouldn't need my recommendation, lol. However, it is hard to verify if an at home gig is legit, but this is one of the rare real ones and to a less than abled guy like me, is gold. Wishing you the best and if you decide to try it out, I will definitely talk with my boss.
