Gore has been a final cut in 2019 and 2020 with Chargers and he did not even get on a practice squad until teams had injuries in October 2019 and November 2020.

I think Fountain could also avoid being claimed and be available for practice squad.

Fountain isn't getting cut....

Harris and Cobb getting cut means DoD and/or Niemann make the team. Sigh.

Gore's 60 yard TD run that was all over sportscenter says otherwise

You're probably right. I was just thinking Fountain probably clears waivers, but considering that TY Hilton is hurt, Colts would take Fountain back if they had the chance.

Yeah, losing Gore bothers me much more than Powell.

What team are you thinking would pick up Gore?

Chiefs don't cut guys like Thompson that work on ST and stay on top of strength and conditioning.

Lol. RGR guy said Zayne Anderson was too important to let dangle in front of teams on the practice squad.

Well, clearly the Chiefs don't feel the same way, buddy.

Get better opinions next time.

RGR guy and his guests sound like they form their opinions based off A.M radio sports talk.

The few times i've tried to listen to him i end up rolling my eyes and turning it off.

Dude needs a CP account tbh. He'd probably learn something.

Detroit is the first name I think of. They have zero depth and are scared to even play Swift in preseason games

I tend to agree. I wonder if there’s any chance he gets dealt.

That would be ideal, but he'd have to approve the trade.

If I'm LDT, I'd say, "Sure, go ahead and trade me" if it meant being a starter instead of a backup. Maybe for most teams he'd say yes unless it's the Bengals or Texans or some other mismanaged awful group of losers.

You don't think they have their own bottom of the roster RB that they like?

Every team has a Gore, just as every team has a Fountain.

If i'm LDT i'd probably rather just get cut. The Chiefs still gotta pay you and at least you get to pick your next destination.

I think I read somewhere that Gore's kneecap bite at the combine wasn't that great. I don't think the Lions want him.

Might the Ravens turn to the trading block or another team's scrap heap for a new acquisition? Harbaugh wouldn't dispel the notion.

"That's true for every position," Harbaugh said. "It's not like any position that we're not going to be looking for opportunity to improve. Obviously, that's a conversation because of J.K.'s injury. I wouldn't say I'd be surprised if there was a back that came available that was better than what we have for us, but if that were to be the case or some veteran out there made sense, I'm sure we'd do it. Whatever we can do to make our team better, we'll do."

If the Ravens are to remain the league's best running team, such a move might have to be made.
