My career path has taken me down a stressful road lately. I switched over to sales-oriented positions about 4 years ago and it's just a ****ing thankless grind of an industry. Doesn't matter what you're selling; the pressure to produce can really strain you over time.

The wife and I have become upper middle class weed snobs, I guess. Most of my friends still buy flower from their local dealer. I drive 3 hours to Illinois, get a hotel, and spend a lot of money over two days. But for me, it just works. It's not convenient but it is absolutely hassle free, I can get vape cartridges (which I puff pretty much everywhere, nobody even knows what I'm doing).

I hit my vape pen within 15 seconds of opening my eyes every morning. Terrible. Thankfully my three kids have watched me pitifully succumb to my impulses so often over the years that each is very anti-nicotine. Weed? Sure, they will try that on occasion (all three are college-aged). But never nicotine.

I once quit nicotine for over five years. Can't tell you why I started again. That was over a decade ago.
