It's going to be nice having a legit receiving option out of the backfield again, and not just an outlet receiver. Looking forward to what this kid can do on wheel routes and screens (especially wheel routes one-on-one with a Sam or Mike 'backer).

The TD Kareem Hunt scored on his debut against the Pats when he ran through the middle and caught the ball over his shoulder MUST be back in the playbook. That was a thing of beauty right there.

I still am just thoroughly confused that people thought our run game was so bad last year...and then they use the prior years as a baseline as if it was better then.
We couldn't rely on shit at the RB position to get a 1st down or score a TD on short yardage for like 3 years until last year. It's almost like we are watching different seasons. You didn't get tired of failing over and over again on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 2 and on goalline with backs? We are looking GREAT next season at RB. All-Round back - Pacheco (people worried about his injury are funny. He will be ready to go fully healed now on contract year) Short yardage back - Hunt Bruiser - Carson Steele Home run hitter - Smith Possible 3rd down back - Mitchell That is a dream room for what we need out of this offense. We don't utilize backs the way run first teams do. That isn't how we operate. Never has been. Never will be with Andy Reid. This is an IDEAL RB room for us. |
Great info. He did look like a natural runner, not a wr that converted so that makes sense. I didn’t know that. Thanks for passing along. He doesn’t look like tamarick vanover running the ball!

On top of that history has shown very few teams can consistently score without big plays, it's why bend but don't break is a legit defensive strategy. |

They just needed a RB that could actually break off a big play here and there.
A healthy Pacheco can do that. |
