The Colts line isn't any better at pass blocking than the Chiefs line...they just have a guy who knows how to get rid of the ball...every time.

I don't get how people don't realize how amazing Peyton Manning is.

That's right, DCS, all you can do is post animated .gifs or youtube videos to prove your point. None of you can ever form your own opinion about anything.

No, we get it. We also get how terrible this thread is, too. It's not hard to figure out why the Colts lost. Their DT's were so bad tonight, Mike Goff looked good. Hint: He has looked like shit all season long. Dungys coaching ability has nothing to do with a DT deciding to retire for no reason and another one doing "Real G' Shit." They honestly shouldn't of even won that many games to begin with.

Sproles had huge lanes to go wild because the DT's were easy to block out of the way and the tackles were handling the ends overall.

Me thinks if Eggo plays the Titans, Sproles won't look so great with fat ass Haynesworth ready to eat his little ass in the middle.

Tony Ugoh was the 4th or 5th string LT? He started after Tarik Glenn retired. He was their 2nd round draft pick, not 4th or 5th string.

and he was injured for a significant part of last season...they had their 4th string OT at LT, and their 5th string at RT for at least a 3 game stretch last year...the game Peyton threw 6 picks against San Diego last year they were missing 3 OL and a few backups.

That offensive line hasn't been good since 2004. They are overrated because Peyton doesn't take sacks...

Kind of like how the Atlanta guy said today that, they were thrown under the bus for allowing so many sacks last year...and now they are praised...same offensive line...but Matt Ryan gets rid of the ball and avoids pressure so now instead of them 'sucking' they are suddenly good because the QB doesn't take unnecessary sacks.

People don't realize how much better Peyton Manning makes the players around him.

Actually, 2/5 of Atlanta's OL are new starters in 2008.

Baker at LT and Dahl at RG.

well I was just repeating what they said on the telecast today...

and Baker played god awful FTR

Peyton (and Ryan, and QB's like them) make an offensive line seem a whole lot better than it really is...

The Colts line this year is not good. At all.

That was a great game! Gotta hand it to the Bolts for a great game!

Congrats, Buck. Pretty good game there, and Sproles is the MAN. I'm jealous.

Way to knock Peyton out of the playoffs, Buck. Props.

Oh, and you guys need to buy Dwayne Bowe a Jamaican vacation, or something.

People are gonna bash me for this, but I thought it might be interesting to see a Manning Bowl. Even though I think Tennessee will get there instead. That, and you guys barely beat us twice this year. I had the Colts picked to win. I'm 0-2 on the day, if that make you feel better. :)

atleats that guy pretends or does look like he gives a shit. I thought San Diego was getting hot at the right time coming into the game, but I am not going to pat my back too hard because the NFL OT sucks. Sproles is the man, he is a legend out here in 72 degree olathe, had a zillion yards against boomer sooner, and now has a staple game in the playoffs, great job man. I didn't see one tonight, but I am surprised everytime someone tackles sproles from behind it isn't a horse colllar. tough to drag him down another way. go eagles go tomorrow

Certainly you can believe it after the game last night. I wanted the Bolts but every time Rivers took a snap I about took a sh*t.

What a lame way to end the game. 3 penalties on the last drive? Manning not even getting a chance to win the game in OT?

The system sucks. The fact that Madden likes it is all the more reason to agree with me.

The NFL should not be called upon to protect and enable teams who self destruct in OT. If a team cannot be their best in a single OT period then they should not be progressing in the playoffs, IMO.

The Colts imploded in OT and they are now going home as they should.

Stryker 01-04-2009 09:33 AM

Congrats to the Chargers! It was awesome seeing Manning's face after the loss! The MF has bit us in the ass one too many times. Priceless!

WilliamTheIrish 01-04-2009 11:21 AM

God bless Darren Sproles.

I thought he was going to be the goat, and he turns into the hero.

Buck 01-04-2009 12:07 PM

I tried to go to sleep last night at around 2 AM and I was way too excited to sleep, I finally fell asleep around 4 AM and now its 10 AM. I should be sleeping, but I have to watch this game.

You'll have the whole offseason to sleep.

Darren Sproles, UFA, San Diego Chargers
Sproles is a spark plug of a runner, who doesn’t shy away from contact and has excellent speed. He has done most of his work on special teams, where he is averaging more than 25 yards per kick return and almost 11 yards per punt return. Sproles’ best hope is to be a number two back while doing the special teams work as well; that’s just the position he finds himself in with the Chargers. Sproles will likely stay unless a team offers him a chance at a starting role. Michael Turner has found some success having left San Diego, but Sproles doesn’t have the same skill set.

Oh.

This is the end of his first contract, I thought that made him RFA, I guess not.

I highly doubt the Chargers won't bring him back. They'll give him his money.

Last night when the Chargers won the OT Coin Flip, I did a celebratory fist pump and hit myself in the right testicle. It knocked the wind out of me for like 2 minutes.

My right testicle is still in pain this morning, I hit it pretty square.

Stand up and do a celebratory fist pump, now imagine you were doing it to something in a playoff game and that means you turn up the intensity by 10 times....

You could imagine it, no?
