We are moving on from including Cassel's playoff game in his stats.
These are his last 17 regular season games as an NFL QB. Shocking that you remove the playoff stats and he still is garbage. Matt Cassel's last 17 regular season games. 313-530 (59.05%) 3,416 yards (6.44 YPA) 16 TD 21 INT 12 fumbles 71.7 QB Rating Record: 5-12 |
LMAO

Pro Football Focus really brings things into...Focus...
Cliffs: Cassel is the lowest rated QB in the league when given 2.6 seconds or more to throw. http://i.imgur.com/iXpWt.jpg |
What a complete piece of shit.

lol*JFC.
Pioli has literally done nothing right. |

Cassel blamed his INT on the DL tipping the pass. 45-second mark. ASSHOLE.

That chart also shows that only 4 guys have had more time to throw basically. Cassel has had 2.6 seconds or more on 54.4 percent of his dropbacks.
But we need a new OL! |

That chart might drive me to start drowning kittens.

The only issue with this line is Jeff Allen, and he had his best game Monday night. |

lol @ a 1-8 team saying they took a step in the right direction.
****ing heads up their asses. |
Look how terrible Matt is at quarterbacking. He could easily hit Hillis for a first down. Instead he's nearly picked. Matt, you dumbass.

Bottom of screen, next to midget...who is also open for a guy with a strong enough arm to make the pass. He doesnt even try to look anywhere else but at Bowe...which is the exact reason that so many of his passes have been intercepted when throwing in Bowes direction. Teams know that if you bracket him and get people in the vicinity, Cassel is so innacurate that you will get lots of ints on passes that are "dropped" |

If Matt is going to throw that ball to Bowe, it needs to be out of his hands in around 2.5 seconds.
He has two other more simpler receiving options in Baldwin and Hillis that could pick up the first down. |
I don't understand why the guy forces the ball when he doesn't need to and then when he needs to force it, he checks down. Doesn't make any kind of sense to me. I am empathetic that it's hard to survey 3 or 4 reads quickly with 300 lbs men running towards you but there are plenty of guys paid way less than Cassel who do a competent job of it on Sundays who haven't been in the league 8 years.
|
There's a safety over the top that's cut out that is making a throw to Baldwin risky.
No question he should have looked off Bowe and dumped it to Hillis though. He lacks any ability to manipulate a secondary. |

"well, you had a cover 2 look and went to your curl too early. This totally isn't something to expect with a LeBeau D, and I think you did great. Really unlucky that the SS jumped that route, I doubt it happens in the future.". ROFL And then later " Wait, that wasn't Troy? WTF? How did he know to jump that? WTF" |
Quote:
Keep in mind I'm posting at 2:30 and this could be completely wrong. |
Why wouldn't somebody jump a route versus Cassel? It's not like he's going to hit more than 10% of his guys deep. He'd check down way before somebody could clear. I don't really have a problem with Cassel's release. I mean, he's no Marino but he's not Leftwich either. There are more glaring problems.

Seriously, when was the last TD throw Cassel completed over the top? Anything I remember was a RAC result or something already in the red-zone. He doesn't scare anybody. There's no such thing as stretching the field with this guy behind center.

This year again he's near the bottom over 20 yards. |
Matt aims for Dexter's big toe and hits it with perfect accuracy. OH NOES SAYS TRUE FANS HE HAD A PASS RUSHER IN HIS FACE.

If he hits McCluster in stride.....that would have been a huge gain. Moeaki could have easily tripped....got hurt.....and had his defender stop to help him.

A) He saw the safety and threw the ball to the right to try and give the WR a chance and keep it away from the safety. The fail here is the safety was there in plenty of time B) He didn't see the safety and thought he had a clear shot. In this case the ball was mis-thrown terribly. |

Matt Cassel's last 18 regular season games.
321-546 (58.79%) 3,509 yards (6.42 YPA) 16 TD 21 INT 12 fumbles 71.59 QB Rating Record: 5-13 Also, here's a fun stat: the Chiefs have averaged 14.9 points per game over these 18 games. LMAO |
Quote:
THe whole reason Pioli sold his soul for Ca$$hole was he had the early indications of a respectable QB. His footwork, for the most part, is very good. In fact that's about the only positive thing you can say about his game. There's just so much you'd have to teach a guy who's gone from HS straight to the NFL that "1-2-3-throw" is about all he's mastered. He'll probably really good at dancing with the stars... |

We could give Cassel a force field that he could throw through and the refs could allow stickum for our receivers and Cassel would still only complete 50% of his throws and look to checkdown all day and lead the league in turnovers.

The O line is beat up and he can't even get a snap without problems... |

Hey, on the overthrow, at least he looked through his progressions!
On another note, I was just watching NFL Network and they were basically roasting the crew about previous predictions. It went to Kurt Warner who stated that Cassel would be the best QB in the rest. Needless to say, everyone got a laugh out of that one. |
Yeah. That was hilarious. Poor Warner.

No one saw Cassel's FAIL coming. No, not even me...
