Four games in one of the most hitter-friendly parks in baseball and the Yankees muster three runs. That's pretty amazing, almost as much as Morton and McCullers missing a Maddux by nine pitches in Game 7 of an LCS played in a Cracker Jack box.

Yankee tears are the best.

**** them!!!

Chiefspants 10-21-2017 09:24 PM

Thrilled with this World Series matchup this year, my dream would be to have Verlander and Kershaw go toe to toe over a 6 or 7 game set.

Sassy Squatch 10-21-2017 09:26 PM

Hooray for a likable team in the world series.

Not really. For all the talk about the corners, MMP gobbles up base hits.

ping2000 10-21-2017 09:27 PM

So glad the Yankme's lost. Thank you God!

But when you play in an era where everyone is trying to uppercut the ball, having a park in the top five in fly ball park factor makes a significant difference.

But it's literally last in ball park factor. And it's been that way for awhile. King of solo shots. Hitter-friendly is a stretch

GO STROS!
Beat LA!

GloryDayz 10-21-2017 09:37 PM

New guy gets hardware..

EPodolak 10-21-2017 09:40 PM

The two best teams are in the WS. I don't care who wins, so long as the yanks were eliminated.

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 10-21-2017 09:40 PM

BUT MORTON HAD GUM RESIDUE ON HIS FINGERS!

kcxiv 10-21-2017 09:42 PM

This board isn't getting any younger but I have to say with posting like this, I wonder if you're in middle school?

The Franchise 10-21-2017 11:28 PM

**** Houston. Go Dodgers.

I am just thankful the Yankees aren't in it. The worst people root for NY, closely followed by STL fans. They deserve nothing good.

Hoping Houston takes down the west coast garbage.

The forecast in LA on Tuesday is for a high of 100 degrees. I wonder if a World Series game has ever been played in 100 degree weather? Normally you're worried about snow.

TIED5573 10-22-2017 12:01 PM

Normally not a National league fan, but I like Kershaw. Hope Dodgers win.

WilliamTheIrish 10-22-2017 05:36 PM

This version of both the Yankees and the Dodgers are pretty likeable. Lots of homegrown talent and pretty fun to watch.

I'm glad the Astros made it, but I would have loved a NY/LA WS.

Frazod 10-26-2017 08:57 AM

Just heard on the radio that the Yankees fired Girardi.
