I heard a stat on the way home from Pat Kirwan, If Burrow is sacked 5 times or more he's 7-1. He was sacked 9 times against Tennessee and won.
Yeah I want the D to get sacks but it really doesnt faze Burrow. I think the timing of the sack is more important like on a 3rd down, stopping the drive. Batted passes will be huge. Our secondary will have to be BIG for this game. As Spags said, try to shutdown the chunk plays. Burrow is not the type to get rattled from sacks, I just dont see that being the cause of a win. |

I'm more confident in the Chiefs just outright destroying the Bengals than I have been against any other team during the Mahomes era. It's going to be a bloodshed.

Plus, it's the only way i can break you all in half after the Bengals get done stomping the Chiefs for the 3rd time in a row. Dickhead :) |

Reader is healthy and will be smashing fools all day Sunday. |
Pacheco is going to get a lot of carries in this one if Mahomes checks to runs against light fronts as much as I think he will.
|
Cincinnati managed to lose three games vs Trubiscuit, Flacco, Cooper Rush, Bridgewater, Dalton, Mariota, Brissett, Mayfield and Pickett.
And they think they’re ready for a pissed off Mahomes? The Bungles are about to be reminded that they’re still the Bungles. |

In seriousness, the Bengals obviously shouldn’t be taken lightly given the offensive talent, but what they’ve done this year hasn’t been too impressive. Their most impressive win by far is Tennessee and let’s face it, the Titans are pretty average. Solid defense and poor offense. Their biggest accomplishment is keeping it close in KC.
The Bengals were absolutely destroyed by the Browns and outplayed in every way. 0-3 vs Trubisky, Rush and Brissett. |
What's the o/u on Jamar Chase pushoffs not called?
|
The Chiefs have not beaten the Bengals in Cincinnati since 1984. What a sickening stat. They’re 0-6 in that time span. This is another weight Mahomes and the Chiefs need to lift off of this franchise. Tomorrow’s got to be the day.

Hearing reports the Flu has spread through the coaching staff and right now six players have it, including Travis Kelce. It’s not stomach it’s respiratory so they’re worried about him running and breathing.

I agree though, except that beating Tenn in Tenn was better than an average win. Beating the Chiefs would put them in the serious discussions with them and the Bills. The Bengals just have too long of a history of failing when the stakes are high to automatically put them up there based on "last year". |

The thing about Tigers is that they never attack if you see them coming. Last year they caught us off guard a couple times, but we know not to turn our backs on these little cats now. So excited to see what this secondary does against that receiving corps. This should be a great game.

Some quick notes;
CIN scores 26 pts/gm and give up 21 pts/gm. KC scores 29.5 pts/gm and gives up 22 pts/gm. But these numbers for CIN are out of context, as the best defense CIN played was TEN's, which only gives up 19 points/gm (CIN scored 20). And the best offense that the Bengals defense has played was BAL (25.0pts/gm), who are also the only offense CIN has played that's ranked in the top-10 in scoring/gm. They only allowed the Ravens to score 19 points, but the Bengals lost that game, scoring just 17. And if you've watched the Ravens defense this season, their corners are just not that good. Further, the Bengals allowed an Andy Dalton-led NO offense to score 26 points, or nearly a TD above their average. And superficially it looks like CIN had all their key defensive players healthy for that game, except Reader. How do you allow Andy Dalton to score 26 points on you? In all, it looks like the CIN defense has only played three teams that are ranked in the top-10 in scoring/gm, with the rest of their opponents ranked below 14th or so. And that defense just a couple weeks ago allowed the 28th ranked offense (PIT) to score 30 on them. With a rookie QB and no OL. QBs the Bengals defense has played in 2022: PIT - Tru-Biscuit (L) DAL - C. Rush (L) NYJ - Flacco (W) MIA - Bridgewater (W) BAL - Lamar (L) NOR - A. Dalton (W) ATL - Mariota (W) CLE - Brissett (L) CAR - Mayfield (W) PIT - Pickett (W) TEN - Tannehill (W) Before the season began, CIN was supposed to be playing one of the most difficult schedules in 2022, but of course, that turned out not to be the case. That's definitely not much of a 'Murderer's Row.' So, basically, the best QB CIN has had to play was Lamar Jackson. The 2nd-best QB they played was . . . a pick 'em between Brissett and Tannehill? And they lost to Brissett. Color me not that impressed. |

Bengals record vs Chiefs.
2-1 vs Mahomes. Won the last 2. 6-1 in the last 7. 6-1 in Cincinnati since 1984. Keep trying to talk yourself into it. This one is going to end the way 82% of the others have. P.S. I was able to post images. Now i'm not? |
