Banana the **** out things.

Kiwi > bananas

Bananas are gross. Kiwi are much better.

217.0 lbs. this morning. Up from 214.8 a week or two ago (something like that).

Back and tri's are still screaming from three hours ago.

Had a weird experience in the gym tonight. Supersetting between lat pull downs and tricep push downs on the multi-machine thingamabob. Right next to each other. I finish a set on the pull downs and take one step over to the triceps (literally 1.5 feet away from each other) and some older middle aged dude just dives in a parks his ass on the lat machine I just got off of two seconds ago.

I finish my set of tri's and just stand there wondering if he's going to do a set, ask if he can work in or whatever, but he just sits there. I start to ask him if he wants to work in, he looks at me pissed and basically yells "Are you still working here?" I start to say "Yes, and you're welcome to work in wi..."

He bolts up, gives me a crusty look, whips his hand at me in dismissal and begins to charge off. Quickly I state "You are welcome to work in wi..." and with another curt hand gesture flung behind his back, he almost sprints away.

"Or not..." I say to no one.

The weird thing was, there were two other lat pull down devices to the left or right that weren't even being used.

Man, the gym has some weird ass people in it.

ROFL he'd been JACKING AROUND doing a bunch of bullshit, wasting his time waiting for THAT PARTICULAR bar while YOU HOGGED THAT SHIT UP ROFL

And now that I've FINALLY got this mfer from HOGZILLA... I'm so MAD I don't even care, don't even wanna work out anymore, asshole!

Funny man. Funny, funny man.

I only wish that was the problem. :D

I'm thinking I was just dehydrated. Nearly 96 oz of water today, and no problem with cramping up today. I think there might be something in my right knee. Sometimes it hurts when I squat down. Kind of have a numbing sensation in my right foot when it happens. I think maybe I just pulled something. I'm just favoring my left leg when I squat down (non-lifting related). Does KT Tape help something like that?

Dunit35 04-19-2014 06:05 PM

Aren't you the one who works out seven days a week? Maybe a day off and some ice will help.

Pulled muscle wouldn't give you knee pain I don't think. Ice and an ace bandage for compression. If it still hurts then a couple days off. Then I'd probably see a doctor. You don't want to mess around and seriously injure a knee.

Wore the shin compression today. I ran a mile for my best time so far. I didn't want to push it so I stopped running. It still hurt but the pain never got worse. So, hopefully it's going to work.

Going to have to keep icing and stuff, but it would still help to keep the compression on there. I'd grab another one for your other leg.

Shin splints suck balls. All the best bud.

Yeah, I came home and iced both shins. I'll have to buy the other one, it's not feeling to good either. I wish we had a good running store here so I could get professional advice on my running/shin problems. Custom fitted or whatever.

Yeah, there was some talk of a good store on here at one point. Jerry something or other, but when I was in KC, I wasn't around when they were open.

I'd like to get some advice from someone who knows something as well.

Silock 04-19-2014 08:17 PM

It might not be shin splints. That's my only contribution.

I thought I had shin splints. They never went away. Turns out it was compartment syndrome. My lower leg would swell, cutting off blood supply to the nerves, kinda like carpal tunnel syndrome. Could have had surgery.

Decided to stop running instead. Luckily, they only flare up when I run as exercise, but not during soccer.
