That's interesting. In league 2, Jay Cutler lost the game twice in the final 5 minutes with interceptions. ROFL

I didn't figure he'd just abandon the run game entirely, but I guess he did.

LMAO

That's awesome.

My yards per attempt is very good, so my pass defense was very underrated going in.

I'm actually a little disappointed in my passing offense. I went pass heavy in this because I thought his CBs were pretty pathetic. I couldn't get chunk yardage at all, though.

CJ Spiller is my god.

Oops. This lost the game. Realistic.

Notable stats in Week 4:

Springfield is on pace to surrender almost 3,000 rushing yards. They are allowing 39.5 points per game. LMAO

Ryan Tannehill is the best Sandbox rookie QB. He's on pace for 4400 yards and 20 TD, with 880 rushing yards. He has more rushing yards than Adrian Peterson.

Tom Brady, The Best QB in Sandbox Football, is on pace for 52 TD passes.

Larry Fitzgerald is on pace for 132 catches for just 1,076 yards.

Brian Quick had 11 catches for the Rams in 2012. Sandbox Brian Quick is on pace for 96 catches.

Alfred Morris, CJ Spiller and Marshawn Lynch are all on pace for over 2,000 yards. Alfred Morris is on pace for almost 2,500 yards rushing.

CJ Spiller is averaging 173 yards from scrimmage, leading all Sandbox players. He is tied with Marshawn Lynch for the league lead in TDs, with 8. /humblebrag

Akeem Ayers leads the league with 7 sacks, 1 more than he had all year in real life.

Duluth's defense is snakebit. We're ranked high in nearly all of the defensive rankings, but we're getting killed on points. I think it's kind of due to bad special teams play and a defensive touchdown.

0-4, at least we are consistent.

edit: I just think this is worth discussing since playoff bound teams that hold out star players for minor ailments in week 17 can have some rather serious implications for Sandbox teams if the roll of fate turns against them and they lose said player for the playoffs.

edit 2: It makes no sense whatsoever that I could draft and start that kicker from earlier in this thread or Kurt Warner or Marcus Allen and be able to start them every week even though they are out of football; yet, I can't start Ladarius Green who is on an active roster but was made inactive by that team that week. I don't think that the Sandbox owner should be held to the limitations of how and when a team chose to actually use a player.

I think this is a really legitimate concern. I really don't know how you work around it, though.

Superior game planning and talent management.

I'm really looking forward to this Duluth-Denver matchup. My biggest test so far.

The #7 offense and #6 defense from Duluth takes on the #1 offense and #20 defense from Denver. It's going to be epic.

All I could think of was #7 throwing the int on a screen vs San Diego...

:deevee:

I thought I had a decent shot to win...

Gameplan is set. We're getting crazy this week.

rageeumr 07-20-2013 12:23 PM

I wouldn't say I did anything "crazy", but my offensive gameplan looks a lot different than it has for the first 4 games. I'm interested to see what happens.
