It's kind of weird that Dorsey drafted Nico Johnson in the first place. He seems to want Mike backers who can cover the flat routes from the RB and TE more than they diagnose open running lanes. And yet these guys are only 2-down players.
Those weren't Nico Johnson's strong suits coming out of college. He would have functioned much better doing what Jovan Belcher did in Romeo's defense. That's what I and many others assumed he would be doing when we drafted him. Oh well. |

One of the local radio cronies was talking about how Nico was showing well at the beginning of camp last week. Even then it was brought out how he usually looked best on special teams. Maybe he's the next Greg Manusky.

Practice was indoors, folks.

Well, not weird. They obviously want a one/two down thumper and plan to play a safety up in the box versus a MLB more than anything. Problem is, we really don't have that type of safety on the roster. I would think that they would have wanted a Kam Chancellor type of guy there. I wonder if Ryan Shazier was available when the Chiefs selected at #23 that they would have taken him and used him in that role? |
Succop is going to get bounced for the younger, cheaper kid.
|
Succop can't nail 50 yarders indoors. He's gone.
Make us proud Santos! |

Luv will be disappointed. She'll have to find a new sexual fantasy on the roster.

Don't act like it's just your creepy mancrush on Bray that makes you want to see the Mizzou kid get kicked off the squad.... |

Go back and look at my mocks from last year. In many of them I stated to go after Ealy in the 1st this year and then spend a high pick on DGB once he comes out. There are PLENTY of MU players I would love to have on this team...unfortunately the one we DO have, is overrated by the homers here. |
