I would imagine Chiefs brass already have a good idea about how this is going to play out...that's all that matters right now. Making it public benefits no one. Also, there is no suspension drama between the NFLPA and Goodell right now. It would be a shitty move to issue one during negotiations...that will likely lead to an appeal. They will attempt to curtail his power when they renegotiate...more than they already are. |

I would think doing it at camp would take some talk away from actual camp starting and that would be the talk. But we shall see. In any event, I don't think they should really be that worried about Goodell and his power, it only effects what, 3% of the NFL? Most guys aren't always in trouble. |

They want the least amount of attention as possible on this story because it is not going to set well with most individuals. If it got reported now every media outlet will run with it non-stop for days if not weeks. If the outcome is released when there is a lot of new news then less media people will talk about it and the ones that do will be forced to spend less time stirring up the social outrage that looks bad on Hill and the NFL. It would do more "harm" to the NFL and Hill for this story to be released now rather than later therefore it will not be released now. |

Either way, if it's now or later, they're gonna take a hit if they don't suspend him. Which is why I'm guessing he'll get something. |
IF he truly is 100 percent in the clear and the "you shoul be...." is taken out of context sooner than later would be good for the NFL for the simple reason that it shows the league will diligently stand up for their players.
It should also be proactive about going after entities that cause harm to the shield , there is no shortage of reporters. Force their hand. I'm in the he clear camp btw |

If he tries to suspend Hill as a means to appease the media "optics"...he's going to have a fight on his hands. You cant just suspend a player that was being extorted because you feel like it....especially if the union views Hill as innocent....and a victim. Basically, it'll piss them off. It'll will be the last time Goodell see's that amount of authority...his wings are going to get clipped. The timing of the preliminary CBA negotiations adds an interesting twist to this...and works in Hill's favor. |

I still think they give him somewhere between 2-6 games and just use the "damage to the shield" argument as the reasoning. That way, if anything else comes up, they can still say that he was punished. |

If they wanna do zero, they'll have to dump a lot of the info to justify it. I'm not sure how that works legally? |
Got from Marty on Saturday:
Got a call around 445pm Az time, however, that news on Tyreek Hill’s status could come out this week. Length of suspension, if any, is still speculative. NFL might dump this news during MLB All Star festivities. |
