I don't know how Weinke goes about teaching mechanics, but if I were a guessing man based on that pic, I'd say that he sees that Geno has a tendency to get his base too wide, so has him a semi crouch to get him to get the feel of the proper base.

When Geno gets a proper base, he can drive his hips through the ball and really get some zip.

Kiper never bought into Tannehill, even a week or so before the draft he thought he was a second round talent. Called him overhyped and overrated at one point. He finally conceded that he would go in the top 10 but never believed he was worth a top 10 pick.

How he sky rocketed after such a horrid second half the season is beyond me.

If he actually goes ahead of all those other QBs, we are in big trouble because that would say a lot about the QB talent in this class imo. A team would actually have to think he has more potential than the other guys and that would be scary imo.
