I'm not sure why we didn't leave Lynn in the game. That's exactly the role he's meant to play - long relief. No reason to get any deeper into the bullpen in the first game of a roadtrip when you have a 6-run lead. He could have pitched another 2 innings - maybe could have finished the game.
