Fox's golf coverage is ****ing abysmal.

The best part about FOX is they've definitely pushed the other networks technology wise. A lot of the other stations have added the things FOX has introduced, like the ball tracer. I bet you'll them start doing this putting sidebar eventually too.

Yes. Johnny will always be Johnny. The only good thing about Fox getting the US Open is that NBC got the British. Still, for many people, this is the song they identify with the US Open:

True, but the tracer was around before FOX; they just used it more liberally. FOX has always employed a lot of technology in their sports broadcasts, and while some is successful, others, like the glowing puck, is a gimmick, and some of it (like over-mic'ing everything from holes in golf to the plate in baseball and their juiced radar guns) is obnoxious.

For me, where FOX stands out with the tracer technology is they actually mark the target. Wish the other networks would do it.

I have to give props to Dustin Johnson. Even though I think he is a complete scumbag and one of the dumbest mother****ers that ever lived, he is in complete control of his game right now. Pretty impressive display.
