Very odd for it to be dropping this time of year. We're down to 2.85 a gallon, but I have a couple of places I can get it for as low as 2.59.

It's really hard to know what the hell is going to happen from one week to the next. Anyone that claimed they are 'sure' something is going to happen is full of sh*t.

Yep, just like that idiot who said it will be over $3 by Independence day, what a moron. :D

Anyway, I saw it was down to $2.23 today, hopefully it will be below $2 by the time I go on vacation next month.

Well we were going to go to Yellowstone, but we waited too long to make our plans and were having trouble finding suitable lodging, so now we're going to Colorado instead.

Im not travelin far so Ill just pay out the nose to go to me fishin spot .. Not really I think gas is like 2.31 here ..

Saulbadguy 10-13-2009 06:36 PM

Prices have seem to stabilize over the past few months - usually around 2.20-2.40, no more dramatic price shifts like we saw over the past few years.

$2.20 here. We are conditioned to think that is cheap.

tonyetony 10-13-2009 06:41 PM

Paid 2.26 today. I don't think the big oil companys want to push their luck right now.

Of course they have with Bush no longer in office. :)

Mr. Flopnuts 10-13-2009 06:42 PM

I can't get it for a dime less than 2.69 and that's reflecting a 10 cent drop in the last couple of weeks. It should be dropping but it's not.

Over-Head 10-13-2009 06:43 PM

Last year when it hit over $1.45 per liter (over $5 a US gal) we nearly went nutts.
Now it's been holding at $1.10 or roughly $4.50 us/gl for longer than I can remember, now one notices. Funny how that shit takes place aint it?

Param 10-13-2009 06:49 PM

Weak dollar seems to be the problem today...

That's because crude has stabilized around $70/barrel.
