Where are you seeing we gave up a 7th rounder as well? Every report I've seen has said the chiefs first for the nines 2nd, 4th, and 6th.

Chiefs got taken by denver. Left with their dicks in hand trade down to regroup. Now someone will jump them early tomorrow to get cook. Lol. Seems like a running theme. Every year someob jumps kc to get a qb.

Even if we could have traded up..

That would be tough to give up our second rounder to move up if the teams willing to move down want a pick in this draft to move down and us not having a third.

Moving up would have left us with a backup QB and no pick till the end of the fourth round.

We got absolutely jewed on this deal.

To move up into the first costs a 3rd round pick. Always has and always will. If the team isn't willing to give up that 3rd, then don't make the trade.

I could see us giving back like a 6th or a 5th in return to get that 3rd, but it was pretty crucial that we did SOMETHING. Dorsey took the 4th instead because his board got rocked.

I'd much rather have the 5th year option over the 6th round pick. If that 4th isn't turned into a third the trade is a steaming pile of shit to me.

Wow. so we didn't get to spend a first round pick on a QB who AIN'T gonna play for a while. Besides, I want to see what Murray and Bray have. More pressing needs are DB, Pass rusher and WR.
