He's not just questioning it. He's making assumptions that they are prepared to do absolutely nothing at the position. He's bringing up 0 TDs to a WR season as if that's what we're looking at. How is that not irrational?

I don't think looking at our $9M in cap space and looking at what OBJ wants, and what Hopkins GETS and may want, and what we've offered in the past and drawing the conclusion that the $$$ may not work is being irrational.

Clearly nobody else is offering OBJ what he wants either. It's the market this year. It's not like everybody else is throwing 15 mil at OBJ while the Chiefs are lowballing him by 10 mil.

Do I want that? No. Of course not.

Im very much a, "give him every weapon you can" guy. I'm just not sure the Chiefs feel the same way, or they may feel that Moore/Toney ARE the weapons he needs.
