I've switched it around to provide more balance (granted, my wr and TEs are horrific) but I'm still getting terrible results.

They are the Tuesday night football game this week.

I had run heavy play selection on first down and favorable 2nd and 3rd down situations. Much more run heavy than normal. I thought I could be successful because Chula Vista has a weak run defense. Unfortunately my running wasn't effective and I found myself in a lot of passing situations on 2nd and 3rd down. I also fell behind and had to pass like mad late in the game.

The thing is, my passing was relatively effective (5.6 ypa for passing plays compared to 3.3 ypc for running plays). I might have been more competitive had I passed more on first down.

That's the way i feel... These sims seemingly make zero sense.

On a brighter note, I didn't give up a punt return for a touchdown this sim.

3 turnovers, and a 48% passer rating for Stafford and I pulled out a victory. Carried by Steven Jackson and my defense finally. My oponent somehow received a punt that resulted in a safety, lol !! 2-4. Still in this.

I'm beyond tired of Chris Johnson being a pussy in short yardage situations. I wanted to see if Turbin could actually give me 3 and 4 yard carries instead of this 0, 0, 15, -1, 1 shit that Johnson gives me. Johnson is just particularly ill-suited for my offense. He's a HR hitter that, if he doesn't hit a HR, strikes out in spectacular fashion.

And yeah, another game where my guys desperately tried to blow a 3-score lead late in the third with plenty of help from penalties and an ill-timed turnover. He was 10 yards away from coming back to beat me 21-19 after I just coasted to a 19-0 lead. Big ups to my red-zone offense for shitting the bed 3 times...

I already know how my season's going to end - a penalty on Tarell Brown. According to Sandbox, he didn't actually cover anyone last year, just held them on every play. Oh yeah, and Gerald McCoy evidently has no idea where the neutral zone is and Bruce Irvin has never met a QB he wouldn't rough.

Ya, Pittsburgh is good I doubt I hold them off.

Mostly I'm still marveling at the fact I have a 30 percent third down conversion rate while ****ing killing everyone. WTF.

Maybe the sim is kicking in with a "hold on, no more scoring for you" bit of code.
