To move up into the first costs a 3rd round pick. Always has and always will. If the team isn't willing to give up that 3rd, then don't make the trade.

Good news is that the DBs and WRs are gone.

The trade down confirms what I said an hour ago - dude sat there whIle his board got massacred. Dorsey ****ed up - period. The stats on his 'return' don't lie over large numbers (which is all that matters as he has no goddamn idea who will be there in the 4th); a 4th simply has extremely nominal value. And the value of the 5th year of control is absolutely tangible value that's been set ablaze. This is purely objective, folks. No editorial license required and no player projections needed.

The players picked simply do not matter; it would be, at best, salvaging a horrific misfire.
