Also have to factor in salaries, which have huge disparities in MLB trades. In other sports guys are normally traded with similar contracts - but in these we see guys making a ton going in exchange for guys making nothing.

Now would be a good time to point out Glass is taking on $4m in payroll he didn't have yesterday. So he absolutely is spending to win. The fans packing the stadium also deserve a pat on the back for this deal
